Center For Behavior Science

Though human almost similar everywhere, but human nature and behavior varies according to its hues and complexities. In order understand human behavior proper societal and cultural context has to be studied. Identifying, Understanding, Evaluating, Interpreting and comprehending human behavior in corresponding context is necessary for the success of the individual, organization and society. There is also a need for business schools to adequately equip their students to deal with holistic health and life issues so that dysfunctional behaviors at work or in personal life are prevented to a large extent. Hence, it is the endeavor of this centre to enable people to understand behavior as well as to equip them with necessary knowledge and skills to help modify behavior.

Objectives of the Centre

  • To evaluate the theoretically rooted evidence based psychological interventions across different range of areas.
  • To conduct research in areas of interest to organizations, or wherever a lacuna is perceived.
  • To provide opportunities to students at SIMS so they gain greater depth of knowledge and skills needed to be effective Managerial professionals.
